AC maintenance built for a 10-month cooling season
Southwest Florida runs its AC harder than almost anywhere in America. Our twice-a-year tune-up plan keeps your system efficient, your FPL bill in check, and your summer boring — in the best way.

Priority Service
What a year of SWFL does to your unit
10 months of runtime — a Naples system logs the hours a northern unit takes three years to reach. Wear shows up early.
Salt air corrosion — coastal air chews through coil fins and electrical contacts. Here’s what salt does to a condenser.
Humidity plus a dirty coil — algae clogs the condensate line, the drain pan overflows, and mold gets a head start.
Efficiency slide — dust on coils and low refrigerant make the system run longer for the same cooling. You pay for it on the FPL bill.
Most July breakdowns were visible in April. A spring tune-up finds them while they’re still cheap — and before the schedule fills with emergency calls.

The breakdown that never happened
On a spring tune-up in Naples, our tech’s amp readings showed a capacitor running well out of spec — the kind of part that dies on the first 95° week. Swapped in fifteen minutes, condensate line flushed while we were there. That system ran the whole summer without a single service call.
That’s the entire pitch. A tune-up costs a fraction of an August emergency, and it’s scheduled on your calendar instead of your worst day.

AC Maintenance FAQs
How often should an AC be serviced in Florida?
Twice a year. Up north, one annual visit is fine — but a Southwest Florida system runs 10 months a year in humidity and salt air. A spring visit preps it for the summer load; a fall visit catches the wear that summer caused. That’s exactly how our plan is built.
Is an AC maintenance plan worth it?
In SWFL, usually yes. A maintained system runs more efficiently (lower FPL bills), lasts longer, and breaks down far less often in peak season. Add priority scheduling and member repair pricing, and most members come out ahead of paying visit-by-visit. If your system is nearly new and under a maintenance-included warranty, we’ll tell you to wait — honestly.
What does the tune-up include?
A 21-point inspection and service: refrigerant check, coil cleaning, condensate drain flush, electrical and capacitor testing, blower service, thermostat calibration, filter change, and a documented performance test. Want to see what you can handle yourself between visits? Here’s our Florida AC maintenance checklist.
When should I schedule my tune-ups?
Spring (March–May) before the real heat arrives, and fall (October–November) after the system has carried you through summer. Plan members don’t have to remember — we track the schedule and call you.
I’m a snowbird. Can you maintain the house while I’m away?
Yes — this is half our plan membership. We service the system on schedule, send the photo report by email, and flag anything that needs a decision. Before you head north, read our guide to the right AC settings for an empty Florida house.
Does skipping maintenance void my warranty?
It can. Most manufacturers require proof of regular professional maintenance to honor parts warranties. Our documented service reports are exactly that proof — every visit, dated and on file. If your system is past saving, we’ll compare numbers honestly against a replacement.
